Madison Beer

MadisonA music lover and experimenter from an early stage, Long Island, New York's Madison Elle Beer started posting videos of herself singing covers of popular songs when she was a 13-year-old in 2012. Justin Bieber, a pop idol, found her rendition of Etta's "At Last" within a few months and then shared it with his nearly 25 million fans on Twitter. The publicity led to her signing a recording contract at Island Records, and then an agreement to manage Bieber's manager. Beer was also in a minor role of an actress in Louder Than Words. This film, which starred David Duchovny, premiered at the 2013 film festival. Her first single, the poppy, melismatic "Melodies," also saw release late that year.
