Jamie Colby
Colby, National News Anchor as well as Correspondent for Fox News has worked there since July of 2003. Colby worked as an anchor, reporter and correspondent for CBS News prior to joining FOX News Channel. Colby was also a substitute on CBS Up to the Minute. She was also an anchor for WPIX/WB-11 New York, a reporter at WNYW FOX 5 New York, and a correspondent/co-anchor on FOX News' WebMD TV. Colby has a degree in law in law from the University California and legally licensed in New York, California Florida and the District of Columbia. In 2002 she was awarded the Edward R.Murrow National Award for her work on the 9/11 attacks. In addition, she was awarded the Gracie Award for investigative journalism in 2000. She also won in 2001, the Clarion Award by the Association for Women in Communications. Television Week named her "Rising News Star to Watch". Colby has also been an attorney for a private law firms during her 10 year tenure. The law firm she joined began working for an Hollywood entertainment firm that invited her to The Tonight Show. In her early 20s, Colby was a reporter as well as host for Johnny Carson, both during the contract renewal process of NBC together with him, as well as his divorce. Colby is host and reporter for Strange Inheritance on Fox Business, covering quirky or unexpected legacy left by family or friends.
